Anthony Carrillo – Percussion

Puerto Rican master percussionist Anthony Carrillo is renowned for his expertise in Afro- Caribbean rhythms. He has collaborated with artists like Eddie Palmieri, Paul Simon, and Harry Belafonte. Carrillo was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2001 for Best Traditional Tropical Latin Album as part of the ensemble on Rhythms for a New Millennium. Anthony is leader of the New York based group Yambawa along with pianist Amy Quint Milan.

Amy Quint Milan – Piano

Amy Quint Milan is an expressive pianist whose playing bridges jazz, Latin, and classical traditions. Known for her lyrical improvisation and rhythmic sensitivity, she brings a fresh and thoughtful approach to every ensemble she joins.

Michael O’Brien – Bass
New York-based bassist Michael O’Brien is an in-demand performer whose deep, resonant tone and musical sensitivity have made him a favorite on both the jazz and world music scenes. He has toured internationally and appeared at major festivals including the Lincoln Center Festival and IAJE Conference, and has performed with artists ranging from Harry Connick Jr. and Ruben Blades to Ari Hoenig and David Binney. O’Brien is also an award-winning composer; his work has been featured at the Kennedy Center and earned him the New Mexico Music Award for Best Remake. Equally at home in straight-ahead jazz, Latin music, and avant-garde settings, O’Brien brings a rich, global voice to every performance.

Jorge Fuentes – Congas

Jorge Fuentes is a conguero whose rhythmic vitality and deep groove make him a sought-after

collaborator in Latin jazz and salsa circles. Drawing from both Afro-Cuban and Puerto Rican traditions, Fuentes infuses each performance with authenticity, energy, and a profound respect for the music’s roots.

Ed Fast – Drums & Band Leader

Ed Fast is a dynamic percussionist, vibraphonist, and bandleader whose career spans the world stage. He has performed at iconic venues including Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall in New York, toured nationally and internationally with major Broadway productions, and appeared alongside legendary artists such as Chita Rivera, Frank Sinatra Jr., Charo, and many more. As the leader of the Latin jazz ensemble Conga Bop, Ed blends Afro-Cuban rhythms with the sophistication of jazz, earning acclaim for both his artistry and versatility.
